Falcon Drilling has supplied diamond drilling services for the Sabadola gold project operated by the Oromin Joint Venture Group since 2005. The Oromin Group acquired the 230 square kilometer concession in 2004 after successfully competing in an international bidding process. Since Falcon commenced operations some XXX holes have been drilled for a total of XXX metres. In 2007 450 holes totaling 75 000 metres were planned for both recirculation and diamond drilling. Holes were on average about XXX metres deep and were drilled using HQ and NQ bits. Of particular note in this project is the shortage of water for drilling operations. Water usually has to be trucked to the drill site and this demands that the most efficient use possible is made of this scarce resource. During the 2007 exploration season there were two F2000 drills operating which were crewed by experienced Falcon trained drillers from Canada and Australia assisted by a number of local people acting as drillers helpers. It is a stated company policy to employ as many locals as possible and to train them to eventually be proficient drillers. This has been particularly successful in the Mongolian operations.
