Falcon Drilling has become a global enterprise and conducts diamond drilling operations in many parts of the world. In November 2005 a new division was established in Mongolia. It is managed by Mr. Eli Tennant who has 38 years experience managing globally diverse drilling operations for companies such as Algoma Ore (Canada), Coats Drilling (Canada and USA), Major Drilling (Canada, USA, Mexico Central and South AMerica) and Can-Asia (Mongolia). He is also responsible for the new Falcon Drilling company operation in Mexico.
Drilling operations in Mongolia started in February 2006. In keeping with company policy local people were recruited and trained to manufacture and operate drill rigs under the supervision of experienced senior company personnel.. Many of these rigs have been extensively customized by local Falcon employees to suit the demands of local conditions and project requirements. The list of Mongolian clients includes such notable companies as Batu Mining Mongolia LLC., Boroo Gold Co Ltd., Centerra Gold, Cameco, Erdene Mongol Co. Ltd., Solomon Resources, Troy Resources, Xanadu Mines Mongolia LLC.

The drilling equipment used on these projects includes skid and truck mounted F2000-S and BBS-56-S series drills adapted and constructed by our employees to suit local conditions and project requirements. These F2000-S units will drill to 1000 metres (NQ) utilizing BQ, NQ, HQ and PQ sizes. The BBS-56_S rigs will drill to 1100 meters with NQ and will also drill BQ, HQ and PQ sizes. Ancillary equipment in use at various projects includes Wheel Loaders, Excavators and Bulldozers. Falcon workshop personnel are currently constructing two new drills.
