As part of the Colima exploration project Falcon Drilling had to construct remote accommodations for up to 24 drilling
and support personnel. Construction of the camp shown above was commeneced in September 2008 and drilling
operations started on schedule on the 16th October 2008. Camp design and construction has been optimized for the
drilling operation as only Falcon personnel will be accommodated here. Facilities include a full laundry and showers
as well as a 24 person kitchen staffed by two full time cooks. Camp communications include a satellite communications
terminal that provides high speed access to the Internet and email services as well as VHF radio
coverage to El Ranchito airport and all drill locations via the low power VHF - FM repeater system..
